Terms of Service
Last updated January 2026
1. Agreement
By using https://toolxkit.com you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. The service
ToolXkit provides free browser-based tools for converting, comparing and editing documents. No account is required and no payment is taken. There is no paid tier.
3. Your files are yours
You keep all rights to everything you process. Because your files are handled entirely within your own browser and never transmitted to us, we claim no licence over them and have no ability to use them.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the site for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to it.
- Remove password protection from a document you are not authorised to open. Our unlock tool requires you to already know the password; using it on someone else's file is your responsibility, not ours.
- Scrape the site in bulk to build a competing service.
5. No warranty
The site is provided "as is". We do not guarantee it will be available without interruption or free of errors.
In particular, some conversions are marked Approximate. A browser cannot fully reproduce every layout, and those tools produce a close result rather than an identical one. Always check the output before relying on it.
6. Keep your own backups
Because nothing is stored on our servers, we cannot recover a file for you. Always keep the original until you have checked the result.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ToolXkit is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site, including lost or corrupted data.
8. Advertising and third-party links
The site is funded by advertising and may link to third-party sites. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the date at the top of this page.
