Why Use Date and Time Calculators?

Counting days on a calendar, adding working days to a deadline or converting IST to a client’s time zone is easy to get wrong. These calculators handle leap years, month lengths and time zone offsets for you.

“One wrong day on a deadline can cost more than it seems.”
  • Exact days between two dates
  • IST to any time zone
  • Your age to the day
  • Meetings planned across countries
  • Working days without weekends
  • Leap years counted correctly
  • Timesheets added up
  • Printable calendars in seconds

Popular Uses for Date Calculators

Most date and time questions come from work, travel or family plans.

  • Notice periods Count the exact last working day after giving a sixty or ninety day notice.
  • Client calls abroad Find a meeting time that suits people in India, London and California.
  • Age for forms Work out exact age in years, months and days for an exam or job form.
  • Project deadlines Add business days to a start date and see when the work is really due.
  • Weekly timesheets Add up start and finish times, breaks and overtime for a week of shifts.
  • Birthday countdowns See how many days are left until a birthday, wedding or exam.
  • Printed calendars Make a monthly calendar for the fridge, a notice board or a classroom.
  • Timestamps for developers Convert Unix timestamps and ISO 8601 dates into a readable date and time.

What You Can Do with the Leap Year Checker

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to common questions about this tool.

Do I need to install anything to use the Leap Year Checker?

No. Leap Year Checker runs entirely in your browser — there is nothing to download, no extension and no desktop program. It works the same on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iPhone.

Is it safe to use the Leap Year Checker online?

Safer than the usual alternative, yes. Most online tools upload your file to a server you know nothing about, where it sits until someone deletes it. Here the file never leaves your device — the processing happens in the page itself, so there is no server copy to leak, retain or sell.

Why is my day count off by one?

Some counts include both the start and the end date, and some include only one. That single day is usually the difference. Check which way your office, court or contract counts before relying on a deadline.

Does Leap Year Checker cost anything?

No. There is no sign-up and no limit. Use it on a phone or computer whenever a date question comes up, and the dates you enter are not saved anywhere.

Are leap years counted?

Yes. The calculators use the real calendar, so 29 February is counted in leap years and every month has its correct number of days, including the short ones.

Does Leap Year Checker use my device’s clock?

It reads today’s date and time from your device where it needs them, such as for age or countdowns. If your phone or computer clock is wrong, correct it and the results will follow.

How far is IST from GMT?

India Standard Time is five and a half hours ahead of GMT and UTC, all year round, because India does not change its clocks for summer. Other countries do, so their gap with IST can shift.
