Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to common questions about this tool.
Why does RRB say my signature is too small?
The limit is 30 KB to 49 KB, so a small clean scan of 10–20 KB fails. This page keeps the best quality and, if needed, adds empty space inside the file to reach 30 KB. The signature itself is unchanged.
Is there a photo upload for RRB NTPC?
No. The photo is taken live by webcam or phone during the form. A photo of a printed or on-screen picture gets the application rejected.
What DPI does RRB want?
At least 100 DPI. Files from this page are marked 200 DPI.
Does RRB NTPC Signature Resize reduce my photo’s quality?
Converting and cropping keep quality close to the original. Compressing trades a little detail for a much smaller file, and a lighter setting keeps more of it. Compare the preview with your original before saving.
Will my photo be accepted by the exam form?
The exam photo tools follow the size, dimensions and file weight given in the official notice. Always read the latest notice too, because boards sometimes change their rules between years.
Can I edit pictures with RRB NTPC Signature Resize straight from my gallery?
Yes. Pick a photo from your gallery or take one with the camera, then save the result back to your phone. Everything works in the browser, so there is no app to install.
Is RRB NTPC Signature Resize free with no watermark?
Yes. Use it for as many pictures as you need without an account, and each image comes back without any logo or mark from the site.
