Tips and Good to Know

  1. The IBPS form also takes a live photo with your webcam or phone. This page prepares only the uploaded one; sit in good light for the live one too.

  2. The declaration must be handwritten in English, not typed. Write it on white paper in black ink, photograph it, then use the Declaration tab.

  3. The numbers come from the PO/MT-XV notice. If this year’s notice gives different sizes, type them into the boxes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to common questions about this tool.

What is the IBPS photo size in KB and pixels?

The photo is 200 × 230 pixels and between 20 KB and 50 KB, as a JPG. The signature is 140 × 60 pixels and 10–20 KB. Both come from the IBPS PO/MT-XV notification.

My photo is only 12 KB. Why does the form refuse it?

IBPS sets a minimum as well as a maximum. This page raises the quality first and, if the picture is still under 20 KB, adds empty space inside the file until it reaches the minimum. The picture itself does not change.

What do I write in the IBPS handwritten declaration?

The notice gives the text: “I, (your name), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required.” Write it in English, in black ink, not in capital letters.

Does IBPS Photo and Signature Resize reduce my photo’s quality?

Converting and cropping keep quality close to the original. Compressing trades a little detail for a much smaller file, and a lighter setting keeps more of it. Compare the preview with your original before saving.

Are my photos uploaded to a server?

No. Pictures are opened and changed inside your browser, and the result is saved to your device. Family photos, ID scans and signatures are never sent anywhere.

Will my photo be accepted by the exam form?

The exam photo tools follow the size, dimensions and file weight given in the official notice. Always read the latest notice too, because boards sometimes change their rules between years.

Can I edit pictures with IBPS Photo and Signature Resize straight from my gallery?

Yes. Pick a photo from your gallery or take one with the camera, then save the result back to your phone. Everything works in the browser, so there is no app to install.

Is IBPS Photo and Signature Resize free with no watermark?

Yes. Use it for as many pictures as you need without an account, and each image comes back without any logo or mark from the site.
