Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to common questions about this tool.
What is the CTET photo size?
3.5 cm wide × 4.5 cm high, JPG, between 10 KB and 100 KB.
What is the CTET signature size?
3.5 cm × 1.5 cm, JPG, between 3 KB and 30 KB.
How many pixels is 3.5 × 4.5 cm?
It depends on the DPI: about 138 × 177 pixels at 100 DPI, and 350 × 450 at 254 DPI. The bulletin gives no pixel size, so this page uses 350 × 450, which has the same shape and stays sharp.
Does CTET Photo and Signature Resize reduce my photo’s quality?
Converting and cropping keep quality close to the original. Compressing trades a little detail for a much smaller file, and a lighter setting keeps more of it. Compare the preview with your original before saving.
Are my photos uploaded to a server?
No. Pictures are opened and changed inside your browser, and the result is saved to your device. Family photos, ID scans and signatures are never sent anywhere.
Will my photo be accepted by the exam form?
The exam photo tools follow the size, dimensions and file weight given in the official notice. Always read the latest notice too, because boards sometimes change their rules between years.
Can I edit pictures with CTET Photo and Signature Resize straight from my gallery?
Yes. Pick a photo from your gallery or take one with the camera, then save the result back to your phone. Everything works in the browser, so there is no app to install.
Is CTET Photo and Signature Resize free with no watermark?
Yes. Use it for as many pictures as you need without an account, and each image comes back without any logo or mark from the site.
